Clara and Robert Schumanns spring of love
A romantic lied recital with songs by Clara and Robert Schumann.
At the center of the programm there will be the "Zwölf Gedichte aus Rückerts Liebesfrühling für Gesang und Pianoforte op.37", a collaborative work of both Robert and Clara. Besides, there will be a group of songs from "Myrthen", Robert's wedding gift to Clara, a group of Clara's own Lied compositions, and, finally, famous song-cycle "Frauenliebe und -leben".
